I have been a Costs Lawyer since 1988 and commenced my own practice on 1 July 2009 . Prior to practising as a Costs Lawyer I was a solicitor in private practice, principally in the area of litigation. I have substantial experience in all aspects of legal costing and appear regularly at taxations of costs in the Supreme, County, Federal and High Courts. Services I am able to provide costing services in the following areas: - preparation of detailed bills of costs in taxable form Performance I am available to attend your office to perform costing services (in the Melbourne CBD) and take the view that it is often a more satisfactory arrangement than sending out files in that issues arising during the costing process are often best dealt with when the solicitor with the conduct of the proceeding can access the file and discuss the matter directly with me. Alternatively, you can send your file to my office to be attended to within an agreed time frame. I believe that my clients are entitled to be kept informed of the progress of the costing of their files and endeavour to “call you before you call me” if there is any reason for delay.
